He graduated cum laude, in the top fifteen percent of his class at Eastern Michigan University, while working full time in the restaurant industry. Josh has seven years of experience working as an analyst in a world class tax and accounting software development firm and over ten years of experience in tax and accounting. Industries he has represented include Restaurant and Hospitality, Legal, Medical, Manufacturing, Retail, Construction, Real Estate, Technology, Financial Services, Insurance, Energy, Estate/Gift, and Non-Profit. Josh has prepared campaign finance reports for several of the top ranking officeholders throughout the Texas statewide political arena. Roger Ray, PE is the owner/partner and COO of Ray CPA Group’s San Antonio business. Roger brings over 30 years of business management and leadership experience to Ray CPA, with the past 18 years leading US multinational corporations to financial growth and success in Asia, based in Shanghai, China. Prior to joining Ray CPA, Roger most recently held the position of President for the Asia business unit of a US based corporation. Roger is a Registered Professional Engineer, with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Tech University. Roger is also verbally fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He has significant expertise in US tax reporting compliance and tax optimization for ex-pats working on international assignments, including Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, Foreign Tax Credits, Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR), inbound and outbound investment financial reporting, as well as design and implementation of hypothetical tax programs for corporations and their overseas employees.

James Lynch, J.D., MBA is a tax attorney licensed to practice law in Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Bankruptcy Courts. Jim’s combined knowledge of accounting and law serves as a tremendous advantage in assisting clients with forensic accounting, asset tracing, business formations, estate planning, and taxation issues with the IRS and state taxing authorities. Jim comes to Ray CPA with nearly two decades of experience in law and business. Jim received a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Arizona State University, a Juris Doctorate (Magna Cum Laude) from Whittier Law School, and an MBA from the University of Washington. Jim is on the path to becoming a CPA and is enrolled in the Post-baccalaureate Professional Accountant Certificate (C.P.A. Track).
George Libby III, CPA MST is a licensed CPA in the states of Texas and Michigan. George is a tax manager with a Master of Science in Taxation. George passed the grueling Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) examination, is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, a Member of the Texas Society of CPAs, a Member of the Audit Committee for Texell Federal Credit Union, and is proud to say that he passed all four sections of the difficult CPA exam on the first attempt.
Frank Fischer, CPA is a licensed CPA in the state of California and Texas. Frank is a Tax Accountant with over twenty years of experience in banking and accounting firms. Prior to Ray CPA, Frank worked for a wealth management firm providing tax guidance for high net worth individuals, estates, and trusts. Frank is originally from Indonesia and prior to immigrating to the United States was the vice president of an IT Consulting firm. Frank is based in the Ray CPA's Round Rock office.
Susan Ying Sun Ray is responsible for business development of our multinational clients in the Greater San Antonio area. She has a B.A. degree from Tianjin Foreign Language University in English language and U.S. culture. Susan is multi-lingual in both English and her native language of Mandarin Chinese. She is a licensed real estate agent in the State of Texas.
Tina Chen, MBA is a tax and accounting professional with over a decade of experience in high level taxation. Her expertise includes the Texas Franchise Tax, multi-state sales tax issues, S-Corporations, and multi-tiered partnerships. Tina is fully fluent in English and her native language of Mandarin Chinese.
Cindy Steel has provided full cycle accounting processing and reporting for multiple industries including manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, healthcare, insurance, law firms, escrow and trust funds, investment funds, advertising, religious and non-profit organizations, and various service companies. Cindy has consulted with small business owners and non-profit organizations to assist with establishing internal controls and practices to meet audit guidelines and specific industry standard requirements. Cindy has consulted on specific projects to provide in-depth reconciliation and audit review for online retail sales, real estate escrow transactions, estate distributions, multi-party legal settlements, and business reorganization. Cindy has also assisted with the application process for the State of Texas HUB (habitually underutilized business) program certification.
Brian Huber has worked in public accounting since 2003 following several years of experience as an investment analyst. His expertise in the accounting field includes tax preparation for businesses and individuals as well as delivering consultation and training with QuickBooks. Brian has written extensively about various financial subjects for numerous websites and newsletters. Brian holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Despite his workaholic approach to the accounting profession and investment research, he seldom misses a day of going to the gym.
